Blue Berries

The first plants of 2022! Starting off the new year by adding 2 blueberry bushes to our garden. We are still learning our property and the best places to plant specific crops. I felt very inspired when we thought of the idea to create a tiered garden on the riverbank behind the barn. Blueberries need a sheltered location in full sun. The tiered garden concept will provide the shelter as the berries grow. Can't wait to harvest little plump berries, I'm already thinking about baking blueberry scones, blueberry muffins, and snaking on them fresh from the garden.
